About me
Licensed School Counselor · Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
I'm a counselor serving clients across Colorado by telehealth, and I truly believe you don't have to walk through the hard parts alone.
My own experiences and healing journey have shaped how I support others — with empathy, compassion, and without judgment. After more than ten years in education, and earning my Master's in School Counseling from Colorado Christian University, I found my passion in helping people navigate life, relationships, and personal growth.
My Christian faith is an important foundation in my own life, but I believe everyone's path is their own. I welcome you exactly where you are, including wherever you may be in your faith.
Individual counseling
I understand that reaching out for counseling can bring an overwhelming mix of thoughts and emotions. My goal is to offer a safe, welcoming space where you can find healing and create room for personal growth, at your own pace.
Together, we will identify and build on the goals that matter to you, helping you develop a solid foundation to stand on as you navigate life's path. I believe counseling is a collaborative process, and I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you.
I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management, trauma, and substance misuse, as well as those seeking personal growth.
I use a person-centered approach, drawing on holistic practices and a range of therapeutic methods chosen around what you need.
You set the direction. I meet you where you are and follow your pace, rather than working from a fixed programme.
Practical work on the thoughts and patterns holding a difficulty in place, including small steps you can take between sessions.
Attention to the whole person, and ways to steady yourself when things feel like too much.
You do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. Counseling can be a place to pause, reflect, heal, and discover the strengths you already have within you.
Sessions
All sessions are held online. Secure, confidential video appointments are available to clients anywhere in Colorado, so you can meet from wherever you are most comfortable — no commute, no waiting room, and easier scheduling around work and family.
All you need is a private space and a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera. A session link is sent to you before each appointment.
Jenny's Foundational Counseling is a telehealth-only practice. In-person counseling is not offered at this time, and there is no physical office to visit.
Rooted in the Golden and Arvada communities, Jenny is licensed in Colorado and welcomes clients from across the state.
Fees
I don't take insurance. There's no coverage to check and no claim to file — you pay directly, and you know the cost before you book.
Because you're paying for your own care, you're entitled to a written estimate of what it will cost before you begin. Ask for a Good Faith Estimate at any time.
Full terms, including the cancellation policy, are in the professional disclosure statement.
Payment by Zelle or card, after each session and before your next appointment. Cancel 48 hours ahead at no charge.
First contact
Leave your name and email and Jenny will be in touch to arrange an initial consultation. It's a conversation, not a commitment.
Telehealth is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, call or text 988, or dial 911.
